Meet Charline Bengtson, LMFT
Owner & Clinical Director
"My hope for my client's is that they can find real world solutions and healing to be able to take in all the joys and sorrows of life; to productively live their life to the fullest potential and to whole-heartedly give to their community of family, friends, and strangers."
Hello and Welcome! My name is Charline. I'm a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist and Board Approved LPC/LPCC & LMFT supervisor in Minnesota and South Dakota. I provide counseling services for individuals, professionals, couples, and families across the lifespan in a calm, safe, and confidential environment that facilitates growth and healing.
My Therapy Philosophy

Each and every one of us has a story to tell and a story to share. If the time has come for you to share your story and work through some of the hardships it brings, I am honored to be the person to help you through this.
Finding healing in therapy is based on the ability of the therapeutic relationship to provide comfort, trust and guidance. Life can be hard and can present difficult challenges to navigate on the journey. Counseling can facilitate the growth, healing, and understanding families and individuals seek when they become lost on life's journey. It takes brave individuals and families to seek help when life's hardships have made them feel powerless. My philosophy to therapy seeks to restore balance to my client’s life through finding peace with one’s thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. My hope for my clients is for them to discover authentic healing.

We will primarily engage in talk therapy through a variety of different lenses and treatment modalities. My diverse training background allows me to integrate various therapeutic strategies into the counseling process based on the needs of the client. The art of psychotherapy involves being flexible and creative enough to use practical methods rather than a "one size fits all" approach. I believe we all have a story to share and story we are writing with our lives.

I am humbled by the opportunity to touch my client’s lives and be a catalyst on their journey as well as become a part of their story. I am energized by mixing up the ages and stages of life all humans face. I work at an individualized level as different stages in life and relationships require an individualized focus. I find great joy and meaning in helping my clients gain insight and awareness, access their inner strengths and resources, and develop the skills and confidence to create a more fulfilling, meaningful and balanced life.
