Meet Tayler Waldvogel, LADC, LPCC

“You’ve been holding it all together for long enough; let’s start building a life where you don't have to.”

Hello! My name is Tayler and I am so happy you are here! I graduated from St. Cloud State University with my Master’s degree in Rehabilitation and Addictions Counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and also a Licensed Alcohol Drug Counselor.

My roots run deep in the soil of rural Minnesota, where I grew up on a farm learning the value of hard work and the quiet beauty of the outdoors. To this day, the farm is still a part of me—you can often find me spending long summer hours in the tractor or tending to my many animals. I’m a fan of the simple things: a dog snuggled close, a good cup of coffee, a cozy blanket, and a comfortable couch. I bring that same love for “cozy conversation” into my practice, creating an environment where you can feel truly at home while we do the work of healing.

My Therapy Philosophy

We will always move at the pace of your nervous system, ensuring that you feel in the driver’s seat of your own healing. Establishing this kind of safe, collaborative partnership is my first priority—providing a space that is as steady and reliable as the soil, where you have the final say in how we navigate the road ahead. It is incredibly exhausting to spend your days performing “okay” while secretly drowning in the “what-ifs.”

My heart and passion lie in walking alongside adolescents and young adults (ages 13–40). There is something so incredibly powerful about the "becoming" years. I thrive in the messy, exciting, and often overwhelming transitions that come with starting out in adulthood—finding your identity, navigating new independence, and managing the high-pressure adjustments of life.  I also have a deep love for supporting new moms and those navigating postpartum mental health. Bringing a life into the world is a monumental shift, and for many, it can be a lonely or difficult time. I’m here to help you navigate those "unspoken" parts of motherhood with compassion and practical support.

While my primary focus is on ages 13 to 40, I am always open to a conversation if you feel my energy and approach are a good fit for your needs.

Every person who sits on my couch (or joins me via screen) has a different story, so I pull from a variety of evidence-based methods to find what actually clicks for you. Here are a few I bring into our sessions: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, and Psychoeducation.

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel like a lot—I get that. But if you’re ready to trade the “what-ifs” for a sense of genuine peace, I’m ready to start that journey with you. You don’t have to have all the answers or even know exactly what’s wrong to get started; you just have to show up as you are. I’ll be right there in the trenches with you, reflecting back patterns you might not see and offering a steady perspective when things feel foggy.

The tractor is parked, the coffee is hot, and the dog is ready to co-regulate. Whenever you are ready to start, I'd love to hear your story.
