Licensure Supervision

Our Supervisors

Our supervisors are inspired by working with developing therapists eager to learn the ins and outs of therapy, working with relationships, documentation, care coordination, theory, application, ethical care of clients, and self-of-the-therapist development.  Learning to do the work we do in this world is anxiety provoking, overwhelming and rewarding! We get it and are honored to walk through all levels of development with you.

If you are a student looking for a place to complete your internship hours, North Country Counseling has a place for you.  If you are on a pre-licensure track seeking to complete your hours toward licensure and fine-tune the skills you have been learning, it would be a great privilege to walk with you through this part of your journey leading to us being colleagues.  North Country Counseling offers internal supervision at no additional cost.

Supervision is focused on preparing and empowering mental health professionals seeking licensure for LPC, LPCC, LPC-MH and LMFT in Minnesota or South Dakota to have a strong therapeutic foundation to foster encouragement, collaboration and a sense of belonging to the individuals, couples, professionals, groups, families and culturally diverse communities they will service.
