Meet Felicia Swenson, Clinical Intern
Hello! I'm Felicia Swenson, a clinical intern working towards her Masters Degree. I currently attend UW-Superior in my hometown of Superior, WI. I have my Masters Degree in School Counseling and Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. I enjoy spending my free time with family and friends, and being outdoors in our beautiful Twin Ports area!
My Therapy Philosophy
I believe trust and honest communication is the foundation of a therapeutic relationship. When human beings experience life stressors, or trauma it is not uncommon to feel disappointed. My goal is to help clients recognize healthy perceptions of themselves and build strong relationships with those around them so they are able to understand and live to their fullest potential.

I believe clients are their best experts. With that, I incorporate person-centered approaches as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT). I work with clients age 10+ and encourage self-discovery and personal growth through a supportive and encouraging therapeutic relationship.
