COVID Office Safety Precautions


We are currently providing services via Telehealth with plans to return to office in the Spring.

North Country Counseling is taking the following precautions to protect our patients and providers to help slow the spread of the coronavirus:


  • Your provider may opt to end session and send you home if you are displaying or verbalizing any symptoms of COVID or if you disclose you are in active quarantine 

  • If you have any signs of illness which may include runny nose, cough, sore throat, sneezing, fever, upset stomach, etc do not come into the office. Reschedule your appointment to be online or for a future date.

  • If you have been quarantined and are still in active quarantine do not come into the office.  Reschedule your appointment for telehealth or a future date after your quarantine has ended

  • Quarantine requirements are based on cdc guidelines

  • Patients are welcome to wait in our waiting room as long as they are not displaying any symptoms of COVID.

  • Clients and clinicians are not required to wear masks, however, your clinician has the right to ask you to wear a mask.  Clients are asked to respect their clinicians requests in regards to wearing masks.

  • Please use hand sanitizer when you enter our offices, also recommended when you leave our office.

  • We schedule appointments at specific intervals to minimize the number of people in the office at specific time intervals.  Please respect the time you are scheduled for session and arrive no more than 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment time.

  • Common areas and frequently used items are thoroughly disinfected at the end of each day.

  • Clinicians reserve the right to take a clients temperature, if above 100.2 session will not be held that day.

  • Clients will complete COVID screening prior to or upon entrance of appointment.
